Scope : 14 countries, direct responsibility over French operations Staffing, lay-offs, legal issues, Comp & Ben, management development, career development, coaching of management team both at EMEA and France levels. Special projects : merger with another acquired company, Uunet, downsizing, job grading implementation, sales performance management. With EMEA restructuring, role refocused on France in April 2002 with additional emphasis on relations with the Works Council.
