Florian Sam Güngör

I am the technical coordinator of the Aerodynamics team. I use CFD to support the development of a new aircraft. My tasks stretch from internal cooling, external aerodynamic drag reduction and performance optimization of aerodynamic surfaces of the aircraft. I have a strong connection to all ATA chapters that require cooling and ventilation, where we try to find the best solution for all stakeholders to make the aircraft ready for certification.

I was a technical expert in thermal system design for combustors. I was also supporting the ventilation and cooling studies for various turbofan engines like G9X, LEAP and Passport. I supported the team with my expertise in CFD combined with data matching and validation studies with 1D tools like hand calculations or flow simulators.

During my working period I lead the following tasks: - CFD and acoustic analysis of fluid circulation pipes and hoses - Acoustic design of resonators and mufflers - Aerodynamic optimization of windshield wipers - Experimental acoustic performance measurement of resonators
