Kloepfel Consulting is a consultancy company, operating in Supply Chain Management and provide for his customers, projects success based, oriented in the cost reduction of the procurement process. As Senior Consultant, I'm responsible for the management of the project, the achievement of the targets, the respect of the milestones agreed with the customer and all the reporting activities.

My duty was to establish a purchasing department, re-evaluate the existing vendor list. Search for new suppliers in order to achieve cost saving. To manage the requested change between the push system to the pull system production, I used MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and FCS (Fine Capacity Scheduling).

As Purchasing Director I analysed and managed the outsourcing of some internal production department; benchmarking performances of the Supply Chain, reviewing all contracts agreements to achieve “best price/best quality”, optimized the vendor list , supervised a staff of three buyers, arranged strong relationship with overseas suppliers.

Due to the company’s ( http://www.cereriaterenzi.com/Chi_siamo.html ) entry into retail market (Conad, Leroy Merlin, Coop, Carrefour) I managed a reorganization of the procurement process I worked to implement a new ERP with Kiro Ltd (Software House), defined the new master data warehouse and supply specification. The vendor list redevelopment produced saving of over 50% in “B” and “C” class supplier.

As Purchasing Director I developed the ranking and rating to qualified e reduce the vendor list for each material category used in order to achieve best prices and best quality and verifiable standard. In accordance with the Operations Manager, I made the bill of materials and the productions cycles in order to achieve a JIT supplying system and the reduction of the warehouse value. I was responsible for the purchasing department procedures for the quality certification ISO 9000 – Vision 2000.
