Gawad Alwabr

Dr. Gawad Alwabr holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Sana’a University - Yemen, a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from Pune University - India, and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from Alexandria University, Egypt. He has implemented many studies, scientific research and projects on environmental issues and climate change for many international and local organizations, government, and private sector. He also works as a senier expert in the field of evaluating and examining environmental and social safguards for World Bank projects implemented in Yemen in both the private and public sectors in accordance with the standards of the IFC (the World Bank). A researcher in environmental issues and works as a professor of environmental sciences in many Yemeni public and private universities. He has many scientific researches in the field of environment and public health published in international scientific journals. He works as a volunteer in some NGO in Yemen.
