Surface Chemistry and Catalysis Department • Preparation and pretreatment of catalysts • Performing kinetic measurements on catalysts and evaluating data, using gas chromatography (GC) • Evaluating the formation of surface species during reactions, using DRIFTS

Electron and Ion Microscopy Department The group mainly focused on developing computer algorithms for analyzing data collected by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) • Design and construction of an optical table for performing phase retrieval experiments • Familiarization with Micromanager and image processing toolbox in Matlab
