As a Project Engineer at Britannia Refined Metals, my main responsibility was to ensure the fulfilment of the Control of Mayor Accidents Hazards (COMAH regulations). Due to these regulations, a reduction of the natural gas pressure on the system was required in order to decrease the likelihood of having an explosive atmosphere and therefore, meet DSEAR regulations. I was in charge of managing the project from conception to completion, to schedule and within budget.
