Deployment and support of the Lafarge expert system (LUCIE) for control of cement kilns, coolers and mills for Lafarge plants in North and Latin America. The work consists of development of plant specific operating strategies, commissioning of the system, training of plant teams and overall post-installation support.

Development and support of LUCIE expert control system for all technical centers of the Lafarge group and associate companies. Implementation of advanced Lucie features and animation of Lucie Committee of Practice.

Installations and support of the Lafarge expert control system for plant equipment control for Lafarge plants in South America, Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle east and Greece. Development and deployment of the advanced process strategies.

Through series of positions during that time I had responsibility for management of various operational systems: Logistics, Quality Assurance, Safety, Environment. The work was in support of a South African business unit and often extended in to the neighboring Sub-Saharan operations of Lafarge.
