Created and ran the department in all aspects: Staff hiring, equipment and consumables selection & purchasing, paint systems develop up to customers’ requirements and infrastructure features, creating of process and control charts, developing of quality criteria, etc. Results: From two abandoned shops with no stuff, no equipment, no technology raised the Dept. in one year up to three-shift operation under technological and control charts, with grit recuperating blasting and air-less painting.

2 shops work planning, in-situ parts flow control, man-power distribution. Customer support, upgrades & maintenance planning, consumables store planning. Daily status reporting. Preparing to FAA and Nadcap certification. Analysis of “bottle necks” and their widening. Route cause analysis Developed plan & dispatch procedures. Created parts tracing system (quasi-ERP) generating daily status reports, created team to run this up today. Achieved significant rise of production capacity almost without investments

Ran R&D project from tech. idea up to charts and pilot-scale equipment. Leaded team of 3 engineers and a material scientist, Experiments design, Tech. calculations, Data analysis, Developing new IE EB PVD techniques, New equipment and fixture design, Metallographic and mech. tests, Ran some smaller R&D projects in TBC, Preparing and giving presentations. Brought big R&D project up to Technological TRL 5/6 Invented some new specimens for mech. tests Achieved some fundamental material science results
