Brico Dépôt is a DIY retailer located in France, part of the Kingfisher Plc, with 120 stores. * In charge of Building and Joinery categories (annual buying amount approx. €100M, 30+ suppliers) * Annual contract negotiation with local suppliers (Cost Price Reduction, increase of rebate rates...) * In charge of sourcing new products in Asia, Europe * Factory visit & on-site negotiation (in Chinese for Chinese suppliers) * Range review (Cost price reduction achieved, improvement of store margin...)

-Generate sales leads -Identify & contact potential customers. -Maintain the relationship with existing customers. -Identify customers concerns and resolve them. -Prepare quotations for (potential) customers. -Finish sales reports within the given timeframe. -Attend network event & exhibitions. -Project management (USD X million sales budget achieved in 2012 and 2013) -In charge of the business development and market surveys for the Western Europe markets -Set up yearly business plan for Western Europe market -In charge of the coordination between the Sales Rep office in France, the customers, the sourcing teams and the suppliers -Customer Relationship Management -Sourcing, Suppliers visits, quality controls… Working languages: Chinese (75%) and English (25%)
