• Diagnostic of M. tuberculosis and M. bovis Infections in Swiss dairy products. • Diagnostic of M. tuberculosis and M. bovis Infection in bovine lymph node (Daily cycles - in accordance with accreditation ISO / IEC 17025). • Diagnostic of animal diseases in bovine, ovine and suid cattle and poultry (Weekly cycles -in accordance with accreditation ISO / IEC 17025). • Development and implementation of RT-PCR-based diagnostic methods for pathogenic bacteria in culture, stool and blood samples.

As a PhD candidate, I initiated and managed three projects: Study of CD46 as receptor of human adenovirus 3 and 7, Engineering of Oncolytic CRAds for Melanoma Treatment, Identification of miRNAs Encoded by Human Adenoviruses. I was responsible for the FACS facility and two praktikum for 6 years. My tasks also involved the supervision of Master and Bachelor students as well as the writing of grant applications.

As Research Assistant, I had the opportunity to establish and develop several scientific projects including the development of a light-inducible gene regulation system and also the engineering and pseudotyping of the Duck Hepatitis B Virus (DHBV).

At New England Biolabs, a renown world leader in the production of high-quality restriction enzymes, I join the R&D department under the supervision of Dr. Ming-Qun Xu to initially complete my Master Thesis on protein splicing. Once graduated, my working contract was extended for one year to focus on the production of catalytic RNA aiming at RNAi and initiated a project to study protein transduction on eukaryotic cells.
