Responsible for developing new materials and product applications for Stora Enso’s Biomaterials Division, in close contact with customers. Responsible for the design and evaluation of natural fiber reinforced composites. Managed several development projects with external partners. Carried out production feasibility studies and business case evaluation.

Research in the biorefinery field. Assembly of a research and quality control lab.

Responsible for the laboratorial classes of Paper Properties and Papermaking Processes. In Paper Properties, students learn how to perform all the major paper tests and how theses properties are affected by furnish and process characteristics. In Papermaking Processes, students are responsible for doing the development and production of 4 paper grades. It includes lab development and pilot plant paper machine operations.
