PI: Alison Gopnik PhD, advised by Melis Muadoglu PhD - Researched, developed stimuli, recruited for, piloted, and ran studies aimed at understanding 4-9 year-old children’s perceptions of caregiving relationships at museums and preschools across the Bay Area - Conducted literature syntheses and various data analysis with R - Attended lab meetings, research panels, and departmental presentations alongside PhD, post-doctorate, and undergraduate students from across the developmental psychology department

PI: Cynthia Guo PhD - Managed consent forms, school communications, and the recording, facilitation, and coding of one-on-one research with elementary aged children at local elementary schools - Worked with video recording, online stimuli software, SPSS coding, multiple memorized scripts, and several coding manuals throughout the research process

- Co-led cabins of approximately 12 campers aged 8-12 with around the clock support, programming, and community - Developed and led diverse programming (woodworking, plant identification, team challenges, swim lessons, etc.) - Led overnight backpacking trips for campers with highly varied outdoor experience, inspiring self-confidence, teaching wilderness skills, and facilitating teamwork
