Working on designing and architecting the new Careem Bus application. Working with the Platform team to redesign the database and refactor the monolith application designed for the MVP. Developed a new tool to manipulate, validate and import GEO places information instead of doing it by hand. Optimized our search accuracy and response time by tracing and restructuring the Solr engine indexing. Developed a service to add social activities to the integrated places (likes, comments, shares, etc). Tools: Ruby, Rails(v3), Solar, Redis, PostgreSQL.
