Global responsible for the direct strategic series purchasing area at SEG Automotive for mechanical and electronic parts, having all the global lead buyers for each material field as direct report and functional leadership for all SEG’s regions in the area of strategic purchasing. Ensures target achievement of anual price negotiation, preparation, approval and implementation of a global material field strategy for all MFs in alignment with all regions and stake holders.

Responsible for the Direct Strategic Purchasing of the European region, which has a purchasing volume of 385mio EUR, 3 locations (DE, HU and PT), 15 employees and 1 team leader. Technical responsibility of the shared services of Direct Material Purchasing located in Portugal. Ensures and supervises target achievement, capacity planning, annual price negotiation, delivery bottleneck, competitive awarding, second source projects, bundling of suppliers and definition of purchasing strategy for Europe.

Responsible for 120mioEUR purchasing volume split into 5 regions (EU, CN, IN, LA and NA). Development, alignment and introduction of global purchasing strategy for stamped parts and hot forging. Negotiation with strategic and global suppliers, approval of new awarding and tracking of global material field performance.

Strategic function for project management, new purchasing structure set-up and controlling inside purchasing

Project Manager function with focus on cost reduction projects (technical changes and process changes), localization of parts and development of new components for starter motors and generators.

Purchasing of machinery and equipments, negotiation of new orders, bundling, simultaneous engineering, commercial and concept competition.
