Hossam ELZAYAT

As the lead researcher in a pioneering project at GUtech, I am spearheading efforts to explore the innovative utilization of desalination brine for the production of green hydrogen. This project is at the forefront of addressing the dual challenges of sustainable water management and renewable energy production.

- Lead initiatives in Sustainability, Renewable Energy Services, Water Desalination, and Industrial Control Services. - Drive strategic planning and execution of projects focusing on innovative solutions in renewable energy and water technologies.

- Played a key role in reforming Egypt’s TVET sector, focusing on technical skills and industry needs. - Conceptualized, developed, and implemented Competence-Based Education (CBE) programs. - Collaborated with government bodies, educational institutions, and industry partners to ensure program success.

- Orchestrated strategic planning and technical infrastructure for research projects in water desalination, renewable energy, agriculture, aquaculture, and sustainability. - Conducted in-depth research on the sustainable management of desalination brine, specifically using Forward Osmosis processes for fertigation purposes, resulting in enhanced resource utilization and environmental benefits.

- Developed and delivered training programs in sustainability, renewable energy, and water desalination. - Provided consultancy services on renewable energy and water desalination-related business initiatives at Gas Chill, a subsidiary of Egypt Kuwait Holding Co. (EKH). - Designed, conducted, and supervised the delivery of renewable energy training programs at Alcazar Energy's solar PV plots in Benban, Aswan, Egypt.
