Master thesis: method development for assessment of membrane performance in membrane bioreactor (MBR). Development of a lab-scale semi-automated MBR system, planning and execution of trials, support at installation of two pilot plants (52 and 104 m²), monitoring of process parameters, data analysis, characterization of effluent/sludge, maintenance routines.

Client prospecting for B2B sales, follow up with international clients, negotiation of contracts.

R&D of glass coating products, assessment of thermal, optical and mechanical properties of thin films, documentation and presentation of results to the team.

Assisted students, kept records of their progress, motivated them achieve higher grades and gave feedback to teachers.

Undergraduate research: synthesis and uses of TiO2 nanoparticles and thin-film sol-gel composites. Techniques applied: X-ray diffraction, AFM and SEM.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree obtained in universities in thee different countries: France (Univ. Montpellier), Czech Republic (UCT Prague) and Portugal (Univ. NOVA de Lisboa)
