Leading special audits of Ashland Industries Europe with focus on tax structure and tax aspects: Principal Entity, Substantial Contribution and Transfer Pricing; independent conducting of operational audits of the Ashland Group with focus on effectiveness of SAP processes, internal controls and cost efficiency, performance of compliance audits in accordance with SOX requirements.

Responsible for operational, compliance, financial audits across NB Group units worldwide, involved in audit planning, risk assessment and management, extensive data analysis in SAP, evaluation of access rights, SOD conflicts, supervision of external auditors, consulting role in improving internal processes and controls.

Independent conducting of operational and compliance audits (Sarbanes-Oxley), managing of audit teams of 2 - 5 auditors, SAP post-implementation audits, auditing newly acquired companies and training / coaching new financial management, enterprise risk assessment, ad-hoc projects - e.g. month-end close activities.

Conducting external audits of financial statements: full scope, limited reviews, due dilligence projects, coaching and supervising audit teams
