Working in the project management and technology organization, I assisted in a major capital project involving retrofitting a facility for a new pharmaceutical manufacturing suite. My primary responsibilities involved developing tools for improved tracking of capital commitments in SAP, as well as creating a training regime for those tools. I also managed the schedule for equipment fabrication, installation, and qualification.

• Substrate synthesis, purification, and analysis by NMR spectroscopy. • Epoxidation of methylene aziridine for subsequent ring opening reactions • Gained experience in reaction setup and monitoring • Literature review • Research summary: allene functionalization/oxidation via intramolecular Rh-catalyzed aziridation.
