James Harvey

I work as part of the Organisational Development team, which is a specialised change management team. We work with project teams and functional departments to implement change management initiatives and deliver business-critical change programmes. My biggest challenge to date has been employee engagement with change initiatives. My particular areas of responsibility are Process Mapping and Work Instructions.

In the Meter Reading Team, I was responsible for the management of scheduled reading cycles and work allocation, performance management for 50 staff and the setting up and monitoring of AMR/AMI trial sites. Some of my key achievements were achieving yearly OFWAT targets, building the company’s Smart strategy and creating an innovative performance reporting framework.

I provided IT support to the Metering department, creating Visual Basic Applications, reports and web-based applications to make processes and procedures more efficient.
