Directed $62M joint venture to build a 730K square foot finishing, fabrication, and distribution facility in Lahore, Pakistan. Oversaw plant layout / equipment selection. Charged with development and training of management team. Assignment consisted of trips to Pakistan for collaboration with facility personnel / staff in the installation and startup of WestPoint equipment transferred. Ensured color consistency/quality standards to match U.S. manufacturing standards. Trained/mentored managers in U.S.

Managed 3-shift, 7.6M-pound capacity distribution center employing 270 hourly/salary associates. Center shipped 1.5M cases annually. Led 24 department/shift managers (direct reports). Facilitated capacity planning to consolidate the North Carolina operations into one centralized production operation. Collaborated on innovative technologies and work systems to drive continuous process improvement.

Led 3-shift, 1.7M-pound capacity textile finishing plant employing 220 hourly/salary staff. Charged with full P & L accountability for $3.2M+ labor budget and a $19M overhead budget. Administered $7M in capital projects completed within project deadlines and within budget. Led nine direct reports consisting of department managers/supervisors. Structured a sophisticated vendor management program with measurable quality, productivity, and efficiency objectives.

Managed 3-shift finishing/fabrication facility with 450 employees. Arbitrated employee grievances and administered contractual policies in union plant. Forged implementation of participative management strategies in cooperation with management teams, union officials, and hourly union personnel. Participated in strategy planning and consensus building for favorable union negotiations.
