Junior Geologist in the international SPEAD graduate program with half year assignments in the company headquarters and different business units (Netherlands, Norway and Argentina) - Extensive exposure and work experience through a variety of projects along the E&P lifecycle in diverse geological settings. - Worked on exploration projects in frontier, emerging and mature basins as well as on a static reservoir model for dynamic simulation and well planning at a producing field.

Graduate Assistant at the Aachen Institute for Advanced Study in Computational Engineering Science (AICES) and the Institute for Structural Geology, Tectonics & Geomechanics (GED). Led tutorials in the subjects Numerical Methods and Programming for Geological Modeling and Numerical Reservoir Engineering - Geophysical Process Simulation. Wrote learning programs (Python) for geomechanical calculations and visualizations and prepared Python based exercises for a B.Sc. course in Statistics.

Intern at the geoscientific laboratory of DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG. Developed standard procedures for digital image analysis of pore space characteristics, including the evaluation of published methods to predict petrophysical properties. Digitized and homogenized sedimentological logs and well data from on- and offshore wells of the West Nile Delta. Interpreted architectural elements of an aeolian sedimentary succession of the German Rotliegend using digital outcrop photographs and field observations.

Student Research Assistant at the Institute of Geology and Geochemistry of Petroleum and Coal (LEK). Worked in sample preparation (coal and shale) and the laboratory performing Rock-Eval pyrolosis as well as ash content & volatile matter determination.

Undergraduate teaching assistant at the Department of Mineralogy. Led lecture supporting tutorials for the B.Sc. courses "Crystals-Minerals-Rocks" and "Polarized Light Microscopy".

Internship at a clay pit and the related processing factory. Worked on a mapping project of the mining area and analyzed extracted raw materials as well as produced commodities.

International student in the M.Sc. course "Arctic Basins & Petroleum Provinces". The course at the institute for Arctic Geology on Svalbard imparted a comprehensive understanding of Arctic basins and their development using subsurface data from Barents Sea and exposed onshore strata from Svalbard.

Exchange Student (M.Sc.) at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Courses in the Master's program "Petroleum Geoscience" dealt with Geophysics, Tectonics, Structural Geology, Geochemistry as well as Basin Modelling.

Advanced studies in the international master's program "Applied Geosciences - EMR" with focus on Petroleum Geology, Mineral Resources & Coal Geology. Scholar of the Germany-Scholarship from October 2015 until September 2016. Final Grade: 1.1 (equivalent to a GPA of 3.9), with distinction.

Wide ranging, elementary studies in Geosciences with focus on Sedimentology, Petrology, Mineralogy, Crystallography & Material Science. Bachelor’s thesis: ”Tectonical structures and mineralisations at the hydrothermal vein ”Finstergrund”. Part 1: Fracture-tectonical analysis.” Final Grade: 1.3 (equivalent to a GPA of 3.7).
