• Focus on the development of an All-Solid-State Battery • Coordination of the internal activities related to ASSB and further upcoming Technologies • Project lead for several ASSB activites • Support in Evaluation of safety measurements on ASSB cells

• Project management for the identification and verification of challenges for the processability of next-gen technologies (all-solid-state batteries, sodium-ion, prelithiation etc.) for large-scale manufacturing • Evaluation and expertise support in the field of innovative technologies/processes/materials • Support in the conceptual design of innovation laboratories in a mid scale battery manufacturing environment

• Independent development of research ideas as well as design and implementation of these in the field of solid state and liquid electrolytes for lithium metal batteries • Synthesis of novel high purity ionic liquids with "up scaling" at laboratory scale • Presentation of the project's results at international conferences and preparation of regular project reports • Research and collaboration in an international team

• Investigation and evaluation of acetal-based liquid electrolytes for substitution of linear-based carbonates and their evaluation on safety aspects in lithium ion batteries • Synthesis of novel flame-retardent additives for LIBs • Characterization and integration of novel liquid electrolyte formulations into the current state of research using electrochemical, analytical, and safety methodologies.

• Supervision of first-year students within the framework of the mentoring program by means of advice, support in questions of content and methodological procedure (20 students per group) • Lab leader of first-year students for the lab courses in the module "General Chemistry"
