Facilitate cross-functional workshops utilizing methods and tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Lean, Swimlane Process Analysis and others to improve business processes

Developed new designs for bearings and precision components following corporate standards, procedures and processes. Collaborated with Sales, Application, Manufacturing and Testing groups, as well as with Prototype R&D personnel to achieve successful product launches.

Created conceptual layouts and production-ready designs for bearings and other components related to Manual Transmission applications. Routinely visited manufacturing facilities to maintain knowledge of in-house processes and capabilities for continuous product improvement.

Developed automated welding equipment designs for Request for Quotes; created wiring diagrams for electronic controllers; designed graphics and wrote copy for Welding Equipment Parts & Instructions manuals; maintained CAD hardware/software and department procedures; hired and responsible for two direct reports.

Implemented CAD within Engineering Department, including selecting equipment (hardware and software); transferred core product drawing catalog from paper to CAD; initiated standard corporate procedures for engineering.
