Member of the Executive Board of the MARQUARDT Group, an industry leading mechatronic system supplier for the automotive, power tool and white goods industry. Responsible for production (10 locations), industrialization, logistics, business processes (continues improvement), equipment build and research & development. Leading all functions across the globe. Re-engineered the group wide global production network to an autonomous self-driven organization.

Responsible for 5 R&D locations across the globe including system engineering, software development, functional safety, software test, electrical hardware design, mechanical engineering, engineering services and samples build (Musterbau). Consolidated and re-organized R&D and structured according to Business Unit. Initiated and executed an improvement program to strengthen Marquardt’s position and increase efficiency.

Responsible for the North American Market and the operational result (P&L responsibility), across all functions located in the USA (finance/controlling, human resources, IT, purchasing, supply chain, quality, production, R&D, industrialization, sales, program management). Developed the team to a independent, self-driven organization utilizing the global footprint to be able to grow the North American market profitable and very efficient.

Leading the production location in USA/New York. Responsible for finance & controlling, human resources, IT, purchasing, industrialization, quality, production and supply chain management. Successfully launch of our “first” big automotive business in the USA, in the field of driver authorization systems. Establishing a state of the art organization, which is able to compete in the North American automotive industry, operated the business local to local across all functions independently.

Leading a team of engineers and project leader, developing switch banks for the automotive industry. Full project/customer responsibility from quote to series production across all involved functions. Successful development and launch on time critical project including 150 tools, new technologies within 12 month time from start/win to start of production.

Designing of mechatronic products for the automotive industry. Including molding, stamping, SMT, diecast, milled, turned components and technology. Tight connection to quality and industrial engineering to make sure the parts can be produced efficiently, with a high quality standard.
