Having successfully designed and led over 12 successful training programs, I taught over 200 students in a classroom-based environment over a four year period. Course goals and curriculum are developed and adapted to fit the specific needs of working adults. By engaging students through activities, I challenge them to improve their speaking and written communication skills in order to further their own academic and professional goals.

By providing students with techniques and activities to improve their communication skills, I helped them to prepare for the TOEFL (Test Of English as a Foreign Language). Only course goals and materials were used that focused on the most relevant and effect skill-sets for international students. As a result, students experienced higher TOEFL scores and success in their future academic careers.

Designed and led a one-on-one training course to a manager during his international work assignment in Streetsboro, Ohio. Our biweekly lesson topics include correspondence, American business culture, and verbal communication techniques. As a result of our training course, my student (Tom) could communicate with his American coworkers more efficiently and effectively.
