Development of a fast and robust 3D image acquisition for chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST) MRI of the articular cartilage. I was responsible for the implementation (C++) of the sequence; the optimization with custom build model systems, and planning, performance, documentation and data analysis (MATLAB) of a volunteer study. I also worked on the implementation of sequences for CEST imaging and CEST spectroscopy on Bruker spectrometers.

PhD Student
Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum DKFZ HeidelbergDissertation on the topic: "Isolation of Unbiased Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer Effects at 7 T and Application to Brain Tumors". I was responsible for the implementation of sequences (C++) and analysis of measurements during a clinical trial and to communicate results with radiologists. This included image segmentation, motion correction, registration, and development of custom tools for CEST evaluation in MATLAB. Results were presented on international conferences and workshops.
