∞ Developing the vision and strategies to achieve RG's vision; setting and communicating the long term direction of Resilience Guard GmbH and ensuring that the short term goals, objectives and tasks are aligned and adjusted in anticipation and in response to outside forces and internal changes that impact achievement of RG's vision and strategies

∞ Provides expertise, thought leadership, drive and initiative in areas of Civil Protection, Transport (civil aviation, ocean shipping and inland surface), Public Health, Food and Water and Industrial resources and communications; to ensure success for business operations

∞ Directly responsible for more than 3m Euros budget p.a., in order to deliver solutions and tools to facilitate potential recovery and business operations resumption upon an unforeseen incident. ∞ Chairman of the Group Business Continuity Steering Committee and Member of the OTE Group Crisis Management Team ∞ Chairman of the Global DT BCM Group of Excellence, while holding a pivotal position within the Global DT Crisis Management Group of Excellence

∞ High degree of responsibility for business continuity involves roles as Chairman of the Group Business Continuity Steering Committee and Member of the COSMOTE Group Crisis Management Team, utilizing significant leadership and planning skills to mitigate against major risks ∞ Personally responsible for setting the Group Strategy for Business Continuity according to BS25999, in addition to the Group Strategy for Enterprise Risk Management according to ISO31000

∞ Successfully designed and implemented all stand-by arrangements in case of an incident (including alternative locations, alternative communications, workplace recovery solutions), utilizing advanced planning skills ∞ Responsible for Group Business Continuity budget planning and expenditure tracking, exercising strong analytical ability ∞ Undertook highly responsible role of Program Leader for the COSMOTE Group compliance to BS25999 ∞ Key Member of the COSMOTE Group Crisis Management

∞ High degree of responsibility for planning the ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games COSMOTE Base Stations Roll-Out, using leadership qualities and excellent communications skills to successfully complete the project ∞ Effectively planned, coordinated and implemented COSMOTE Games & Crisis Operation Center ∞ Expertly designed, planned and implemented the COSMOTE Project Office before and during the ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games ∞ Integral member of the COSMOTE Olympic Games & Crisis Operations Center

∞ Responsible for the successful development of procedures for International Branches; receiving excellent feedback from key stakeholders ∞ Member of the Corporate Y2K Contingency Planning team, to ensure all contingencies were expertly planned ∞ Responsibility for setting the security standards for International Branches both in terms of Physical as well as Information Security ∞ Member of the Regulatory Compliance team, having responsibility for the Code of Conduct implementation across footprint
