Coordinated technical aspects of the EU launch of Panther molecular diagnostic instrument including serviceability, reliability, tech support, and logistics while providing business analysis and financial metrics to EU sales and service teams. Generated reliability focused customer complaint coding system for instrument systems using SAP/ CRM which is used to regularly generate instrument reliability metrics for engineering project prioritization. Currently track and report instrument service costs.

Acted as engineering department liaison to finance department for complete budgeting cycle. Utilized financial models to generate engineering department’s annual budget, including the allocation of labor and capital resources. Used SAP/CRM, Qlikview dashboards, and MS Forecaster to track and report budget progress for product development projects. Generated business case for the refurbishment of legacy TIGRIS molecular diagnostic instrument.

Developed TIGRIS instrument service-streamline process which included generating change requirements, performing cost savings analyses, and tracking the resulting cost savings against instrument performance. Completed hardware related projects and complaint investigations in support of instrument reliability. Provided second tier support to technical support department by resolving escalated customer complaints. Supported field tech specialists to ensure new customers met instrument site requirements.

Managed customer service accounts for industrial analytical instrumentation for bulk material elemental analysis. Supervised a team of four service engineers and coordinated service for North American customers. Maintained relationships with new and existing customers and regularly communicated details of new products and services. Services included troubleshooting electronics and control systems, calibrating equipment, providing routine maintenance and spare parts, and replenishing radioactive sources.

Managed industrial analytical instrumentation projects from technical sales support through customer site integration. Coordinated project and personnel resources to meet customer specific requirements. Provided field labor budgets and billable documents to project managers. • Facilitated customer training sessions and field engineer training workshops. Also facilitated the establishment of Korean Sales Rep office by managing technical aspects of their first projects.

Acted as Project Lead for the manufacturing and installation of industrial analytical instrumentation projects. Completed start up and control system integration at customer sites worldwide. Defined and forecasted manufacturing schedule and resources to meet project demands. Regularly worked with material planners to ensure project schedules were met.

Defined and implemented manufacturing test requirements, processes, and documentation in conjunction with sales, R&D, engineering, and customer support departments. Manufacturing functions included electronic assembly, troubleshooting, calibration, and final factory acceptance testing of analyzer control systems. Resolved issues in the manufacturing process required to meet schedules and budgets. Maintained database for factory tests and statistical process control.

Provided engineering support to sales, project management, and customer on all technical issues pertaining to manufacturing, installation, and integration of industrial analytical instrumentation and control systems. Generated and maintained customer site drawings detailing system integration. Defined scope of supply for all projects and solved customer specific equipment integration issues.
