Dr. Jonathan Gelati

I am part of the team which delivers next generation Credit Bureau products for international markets. I am primarily involved in designing and developing robust and quality software and I coordinate a group of software developers. I consult the Business Unit to ensure the feasibility of projects, proposing solutions to business requirements. I report internally to the Project Manager and the Area Director.The projects I work on are typically re-engineering programs (12-50 weeks duration, 8+ team members).

Lead the group of software engineers which has been building the social networking platform on Google App Engine infrastructure. Focus on innovative distributed and scalable technologies (cloud, NoSql data storage) and programming (Java, J2EE, Google SDK, Facebook Graph API, Twitter SDK, Objective-C). Also contributed to the development of the iOS iPhone mobile App (Objective-C).

Technically managed a group of 6 people to develop the CVweb platform (C#, Sql Server 2005). CVweb is a recruiting software used by major Italian companies such as ENI, IntesaSanpaolo, BNl, Enel, Piaggio, Barilla, General Motors, ObjectWay and others. Focus on requirements collection, programming, database optimization, functional testing.

Technically managed a group of 7 engineers to test embedded systems hardware and software. Worked in a highly international environment (Europe, South Africa, USA).

Programmed a server for persisting .Net objects in C# and a rendering engine to display object forms on a web interface.
