Managed, controlled, operated and implemented the contract for dust mitigation on roads at Minera Escondida Ltda. Lead a team of five people for the product application and the dust measurement, handled the daily relation with the customer, defined and presented performance indicators. The program of the product´s application was achieved according to the defined conditions.

• Responsible of the truck´s performance for the whole country. Around 600 trucks, 60 own trucks and 70 own drivers and 50 subcontractors. Annual dispatch 2.6 million cubic meters of concrete. Budget control, 30 MMUSD. • Responsible of the truck operation in Santiago de Chile. Around 200 trucks, 40 own trucks. Annual dispatch 1.2 million cubic meters of concrete. • Lead a team of 3 engineers, one chief of fleet, four fleet supervisors, and four fleet GPS controllers.

Implemented projects related to the improvement of the fleet´s performance. For example: On-line fleet control; GPS tools improvement; amount of daily trips per truck. Implemented and coordinated the sales and operation planning process (S&OP). Every month the optimized plan was delivered and followed weekly. The coordination was done with different areas such as Demand Planning, Marketing, Operation and Logistics. The deviation were analyzed and included in the lessons learned to improve the process.

Controlled the performance of the fleet, calculated KPIs. Presented the dashboard to the top managers including deviations and possible solutions. Co-led the project to define a sustainability model for the contractor´s fleet, in order to mitigate the risk to lose trucks in the operation. It is included benchmarking, cost´s determination and contractors’ situation. It is defined and accepted a payment process, transportation fee, productivity range and how to manage exception cases.

Generated the KPIs´ dashboard report. Determined the deviations of the monthly result in comparison with budget and forecast. Automatized the profit and loss (P&L) reporting. Co-led the cost and the inventory control.
