Quality Focus for the Service Delivery Group, which as part of the Software Management Services group, includes activities such as Application Packaging, Software Distribution and Patch Management. •My role covers not only the delivery operations in HP Galway but also the offshore delivery centres associated.

QC Team lead for the application packaging group. My responsibilities included as follows: co-ordination of all QC team activities across all customers including work assignment, process documentation and procedures, validation and testing standards, reporting and metrics, root cause analysis of QC failures. QC team was the ultimate responsible for certifying the quality of work before it is sent to the customer.

In my first year with Compaq, I was working as a scripter within the application packaging group, which involved repackaging applications for various customers using specific tools such as SMS, Wise and InstallShield for Windows Installer.

Working on the Dell Notebooks assembly line, in the area of quality checking, carrying specific integrity tests at different stages along the process.

• Subject Matter: Infrared Repeater. Working in relation with Data Transmission between PC’s, the project consisted in implementing a solution using the repeater to transmit the data by infrared signals
