Managed legal and operational activities of innovative pharmacy and adjacent health technology ventures involved in drug formulation and dosage form development, patient population management, telemedicine, logistics, and software development.

Developed and evaluated resources (including A.I. and other technologies) for enhancing legal services, improving attorney performance, and controlling costs in life sciences litigations.

Represented European biopharmaceutical clients in U.S. patent disputes, including in federal courts and at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Developed and curated system for monitoring U.S. and European biopharma pipelines for patent, partnering, and regulatory events to predict legal actions.

Represented pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in 16+ matters involving patented drug therapies. Clients included Sanofi, Hoechst GmbH, Debiopharm, Bayer Healthcare, Bausch & Lomb, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Novartis, and the European Central Bank. Obtained $100M+ award on behalf of Hoechst GmbH in Paris-seated ICC biotechnology license arbitration. Led U.S. efforts and coordinated with German and French colleagues in executing successful multinational enforcement strategy.

Studied general U.S. law supplemented with courses on U.S. patent law, international patent law, "world law," and an interdisciplinary program in technology commercialization (known as TI:GER). Served as Executive Managing Editor of the Emory International Law Review.

Intensive study in molecular biology, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. Undergraduate researcher in the Doudna laboratory, studying the structure of protein-RNA complexes. Enjoyed courses in mathematics, computer science, and historical linguistics.
