Josip Sagaj

Josip is an Advisor for the Hybrid IT and Platform Services, with a focus on the Autonomous Data Center Initiative in Austria. From 2007 onwards, Josip focused as Lead Solution Consultant (LSC) on IBM Mainframe Migrations towards HPE platforms, working for many customers around Europe. Josip’s current engagements are covering IT Strategy Consulting, Solution Definitions for In House and Cloud Systems (Hybrid IT), Project Definition for System Migrations and IT Operational Consulting.

HPE Cloud Services D/A/CH

As a Lead Solution Consultant Josip’s responsibility is to Analyze, Develop and Implement IT Solutions for Enterprise Customers. His main focus is currently in the area of Mainframe Application Migrations. Josip’s leading role sets the strategic direction for these customers and HP implementation teams. Josip is running this program in the EMEA sub region “GWE” (includes Austria, Switzerland, BeNeLux, and Nordic countries), where he is leading the customer engagements.

As a Principal Consultant, Josip was working for HP Technology Services in the area of Application Lifecycle Services (Migration, Development and Redesign) for enterprise accounts – involved in Strategy Definition and Analysis projects for IT Consolidation and Mainframe Migration During this period, Josip was promoted by the European HP Management to an international job, which he started in November 2007.

At the beginning of his HP engagement, Josip was leading IT Infrastructure and System Integration projects, as a Project Manager, at customers in the financial industry in Austria. He was also working as an IT Architect, Process Specification consultant, BID Manager, and IT Implementation Consultant. During this period, Josip received a “Performance and Customer Orientation Award” from the HP Management.
