The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal of NSW is the administrator of the Energy Savings Scheme (ESS). The ESS of NSW commenced in 2009 and it is the first Greenhouse Gas trading scheme in the world. The scheme promotes the implementation of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) by providing an incentive with the creation and trading of Energy Savings Certificates (ESCs). One ESC is equal to 1.06 Tonnes of CO2 not emitted to the atmosphere.

The project consisted in the substitution and integration of the production and organizational management System, used in the Euro bank notes production department with a fully-integrated tool. This new tool must fulfilled the production, product traceability, materials and warehouse management requirements among others. These requirements were gathered with a highly collaborative and motivated team and provided by the Royal Mint, the Bank of Spain and the European Central Bank.
