Diageo is one of the very few companies which are following ‘big bang’ approach on its markets, implementing global, standard processes, moving to SAP single instance and transitioning tasks to shared services at the same time. This unique characteristic requires very strong project and change management discipline, and I am very proud of following this practice along 16 waves of system implementation on 20+ locations around the globe with consistent smooth delivery and spotless internal audits results.

Resource center at UPC was an unprecedented challenge, with minimal industry standards and without any company best practices – center set up including service levels, processes, procedures, controls, development priorities and ticketing system. All the processes remained unchanged for years, even after outsourcing, proving the robustness of our concept. At the same time the billing system was a strong enabler of new product launches in 3 countries without major business disruption.
