Managing a 2GW HVDC power transmission project (offshore platform part) in the North Sea, Germany. Managing project phases from tender to execution, incl. design, construction and commissioning. Overseeing the integration of 2GW HVDC electrical systems and equipment into a complex offshore platform. Responsible for dockyard management and offshore infrastructure. Building and establishing strong partnerships with internal teams, platform consortia partners, and the employer.

Leading engineering excellence for EnBW’s Offshore Wind project developments. Developing and improving project structure and processes across all project phases. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure integrated and sustainable improvements and transparency.

Managing the Offshore Sub-Station (OSS) at bp/EnBW Joint Venture Mona and Morgan Projects in the Irish Sea, UK. Overseeing technical project management, supervision, and control regarding time, costs, and quality. Preparing, clarifying, supervising, and supporting complex FEED studies and OSS EPC(I) contracts. Conducting regular CAPEX, risk, and opportunity evaluations and schedule development and control from design phase to offshore commissioning and handover.

Managing the Offshore Substation (OSS) of EnBW’s international project developments. Conducting feasibility studies and concept development of Offshore Windfarms and Offshore transmission systems. Developing centralized and decentralized Offshore Hydrogen generation concepts. Conducting market, technology, and commercial research. Planning for all project phases - tasks, time, risks, resources, and budget. Preparing detailed CAPEX and OPEX data for Committee/Board and financial decisions and approvals.

Managing the Offshore Sub-Station (OSS) for EnBW’s “Hohe See” Project in the North Sea, Germany. Overseeing project management, controlling, and monitoring regarding time, quality, and costs. Supervising project compliance with international regulations, specifications, and domestic law. Managing interfaces between suppliers and internal and external stakeholders. Proactively identifying and solving technical queries with the project team. Managing risk and claims.

Managing quality for EnBW’s “Hohe See” Offshore Wind Project. Controlling and monitoring QA/QC relevant tasks and targets during all project phases. Defining and specifying QA processes. Leading the implementation of a “non-conformity tracking software tool”. Supervising manufacturing surveillance including procurement, coordination, and cost control. Organizing and supervising manufacturing audits regarding QM, QA, and QC.

Managing the Baltic 2 Offshore Windpark project in the Baltic Sea, Germany. Implementing an Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) System inside the monopiles. Planning, controlling, and monitoring the ICCP design, approval, and manufacturing. Coordinating on- and offshore works for the Pilot installation and retrofit of 38 WTGs with ICCP systems.

Managing mechanical systems for TenneT’s “HelWin beta” HVDC Offshore Platform. Controlling and monitoring project time, quality, and costs. Supervising project compliance with international regulations, client specifications, and domestic law. Managing interfaces between client and suppliers. Providing guidance in technical questions and supporting public approvals. Supervising topics such as the approval and implementation of light weight panels and energy consumption studies.

Designing main and emergency cooling systems for nuclear power plants. Specifying and designing piping, heat exchangers, pumps, and valves. Constructing and revising P&ID’s and system descriptions. Implementing and validating a thermo-hydraulic calculation program.

Managing energy and resource improvement projects for an acoustic ceiling panel production plant. Leading Six-Sigma improvement projects. Reducing emissions and optimizing resources. Integrating a new biocide system to reduce misspellings in products. Reducing gas consumption and optimizing internal air flow.
