My work was focused on data analysis and management (using Unix Shell, Matlab, R, MySQL) and mathematical modelling (differential equations, hydrodynamic models). Further tasks included student training and supervision, field and lab work (aquatic systems, photo-bioreactor), scientific writing, funding acquisition, project planning, event organisation, instrument setup and servicing, software installations for research group (linux server).

My project focused on mathematical modelling (differential equations). Further tasks included field work (sampling in estuaries, microscopic analysis), statistical analyses (regression models, canonical correspondence analysis, multidimensional scaling), student supervision, scientific writing, project planning, maintenance of an Access data base.
