SiemensVDO, Wetzlar. After a period of vocational adjustment, I took over the task as head of the 'Intergrated Project Management’, to reach the divisional goal of achieving CMMI Level 3 for all SiemensVDO SV I IS disciplines worldwide. I was therefore involved in the definition and deployment of the required Project Management documentation and procedures. The divisional goal to achieve the CMMI Level 3 was reached and certified in December ’05.

Siemens Libya. I was responsible for the General Project Management of 3 class ‘A’-Projects and 5 class ‘B’-Projects. Up to 150 persons were employed. Siemens AG, Branch Libya. I was responsible for the Project Management for the Telecommunications Backbone System for Phase II of the Great Man-made River Project. The project employed approximately 130 personnel. The main elements of the Project were the installation of approximately 1400 kms of fibre optic cable, utilizing mole-plough and trenching techniques, microwave tower and associated equipment installation, SDH fibre optic equipment installation and civil works.

Libya Division Manager of Siemens AG Transmission Department for the Telecommunications Backbone System for Phase II of the Great Man-made River Project. I negotiated and agreed the SOW and managed the implementation of all telecommunication transmission equipment.

Egypt, Cairo, Division Manager of Siemens AG Transmission Department. I was responsible for the implementation of SDH/PDH transmission equipment for various projects throughout Egypt. Approximately 55 personnel were employed on the projects.
