Creation of a coursebook titled 'Why are there different languages?' This is aimed at KS3 students and the format is based on the research-based curriculum scheme. In this workbook, I introduce students to key concepts on linguistics, which build on and go beyond the national curriculum. Over four chapters, it guides students through linguistic diversity, sociolinguistic considerations, multilingualism, language extinction, and why it is a good thing that we all speak different languages (and dialects!).

Preparing delivery days for school students by liaising with other early career researchers, outreach officers, and teachers at the schools. During delivery days, I provide an overview of what linguistics is and why it is interesting to study, then facility group tasks and answer any questions individually or in a plenary.

I was responsible for conducting lectures and seminars in Language Acquisition. I facilitated poster presentations and set topics for final essays. I carried out in-person and online tutorials (due to COVID-19) and was responsible for assigning grades.
