Freelance Translation: responsible for translating various text types from source language (German/Spanish) into English; some experience in translating from English into German

Clerical and administrative support for all Kenyon Review Summer Programs (Writers Workshop, Summer Seminars, Young Writers Workshop, Young Science Writers Workshop). Duties include (but are not limited to) carrying out office duties, helping with check-in and check-out days, assisting with program catered events and book signings, addressing participant requests, supporting other Kenyon Review staff members, program instructors, and participants, copyediting.

Read and voted on submissions for the literary magazine; attended seminars concerning publishing; aided in planning and realization of literary events hosted by the KR

Lead two/three 50-minute sessions per week in the target language; create lesson plans, PowerPoints, handouts, and other learning materials; provide additional help to students after class; attend 2 pedagogical workshops taught by a certified linguist

Took inventory of various materials in the archives and special collections; entered information from files into databases; consolidated materials; greeted and saw to needs of visitors, recorded the purpose for their visit; transcribed and/or translated letters from the late 1800s; responded to research requests via email or submitted in person by looking through/scanning materials in the archives and special collections, then provided the inquirer with all the relevant information and documents found

FLATnet tutor in German for the Kenyon College Modern Languages Department

Six-week internship, updated website of services/businesses available in Greene County, carried out standard office tasks (e.g., filing, answering phone calls, making copies, etc.)
