Über mich
I am Plant and Soil Ecologist by training and my major research has been on understanding the impacts of different land use systems on soil health restoration based on various soil health indicators and developing agrotechnology to use marginal lands for perennial grass-based lignocellulosic biomass production. Currently, I am applying different theories such as priority effects, functional diversity, and trait similarities to restore native plant communities after the removal of invasive species. While working at leading research and academic organizations in India, South Africa, and South I have built a strong understanding of the subjects, and skills to write research projects, execute field and greenhouse experiments, and write high-quality scientific articles. I have strong organizational and interpersonal skills to work independently and interdependently.
