Ten-month (10) contract providing occupational hygiene and safety consulting services for mining operations in northern NSW, including air monitoring, exposure assessments, hazardous materials support and compliance reporting.

Provided HSE compliance support for Mount Isa Mines, ensuring accurate reporting to regulators and Glencore (Baar, Switzerland). Prepared WHS and environmental reports. Analysed safety and emissions data. Reported emissions to Australia’s national system. Managed compliance data in Glencore’s B-Safe platform. Completed a one-year residential assignment; performed well but found the operational setting not a long-term fit.

Fixed-term contract supporting WHS systems administration, documentation control and safety compliance activities (June 2019 – January 2020).

Joined on a one-year contract during Downer’s internal divisional transition, supporting Zero Harm operations through safety and sustainability reporting. Responsibilities included maintaining WHS data systems, preparing compliance and incident reporting, coordinating safety documentation, and assisting operational teams with risk, audit, and governance requirements across Sydney-based projects.

Maternity leave contract supporting WHS administration and telecommunication safety activities, including documentation management, compliance reporting and safety system support.

Relocated to Sydney for a junior HSE opportunity on a contractual basis, supporting construction and civil works projects while gaining foundational experience in site safety and compliance.

Completed a one-year internship with the Queensland Government in Brisbane, shadowing WHS Inspectors and observing how workplace safety legislation is enforced across businesses. Supported the HSE Manager with day-to-day occupational health and safety activities, including reviewing and updating OHS Management Plans, contributing to the development of a Radiation Safety Management Plan for on-shore hydraulic fracturing operations (Roma-Brisbane, Australia), and assisting with general compliance, safety reporting and field-based support. The role concluded as part of broader redundancies during the 2014–2015 oil and gas sector downturn.
