I'm writing my master thesis with the title 'Extended Lean Concept - Study of alternative material supply concepts by using a logistics route in the body shop of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Rastatt' at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Rastatt.

I was a student employee and my main tasks were: - to improve simulation models from the renewable energy sector such as wind power plants in the simulation software Anylogic - to document the current models and to improve their interface

My main assignment for the duration of my internship was to review the division's business processes, critically assess the way they were documented and presented within the company and finally find a way to transform these business processes into a more graphical approach. In detail that meant extracting the base data from several excel spread sheets and converting the main processes into a new simple graphical structure.
