Originally a New York based writer, I spent the past two years living abroad writing travel & culture articles for news and language websites. Before I began writing articles I focused primarily on screenwriting for film and television. My latest screenplay for a television series called “Craggy Lodge” won 3rd place at the London Film Awards. Although I am an independent writer, I also enjoy consulting for other writers and artists on their projects.

My articles for Union Times, a news website, were initially focused on cultural and social life in London specifically but soon expanded into travel and culture articles encouraging readers to explore the world around them. Whether through travel or reconditioning one's outlook, I asked my readers to reconsider how they approach the world and championed the idea that reengaging in overlooked interests can provide a breath of fresh air and a glimpse into which direction might lead to happiness.

As the service manager at Bread, I managed catering and delivery, interfaced with vendors and clients, trained incoming staff, optimized the computer system workflow, unified company templates, recorded daily sales numbers, utilized Aloha POS, handled employee disputes, and implemented a document translation initiative to minimize language-based misunderstandings. I also became certified by the NY Dept. of Health & Hygiene. (At the same time, I wrote a screenplay that won at the London Film Awards.)

'Friends of the People' is a TV program shot in NYC. As the Paperwork PA, I managed the on-set production office and created the Daily Production Report & Call Sheets. My job involved recording large amounts of data, setting up, running, and moving the production office as the shoot location changed (sometimes 3-4 times a day), keeping cast and crew paperwork up-to-date, liaising between departments for administrative issues, and handling sensitive equipment such as hard drives containing the day's footage.

After the unexpected drop out of a non-union B.G. scout, I also absorbed those duties, recruiting and organizing non-union B.G. talent.

This was a music video shoot for Neighbors and their song 'Wild Enough.' As production coordinator, I tackled logistical issues such as locking down a set location in Brooklyn, co-organizing talent acquirement, keeping the cast and crew informed, and working with the producers and directors to ensure that every department had access to the equipment they needed.

Comedian and musician Reggie Watts shot this music video in Brooklyn. As assistant office coordinator, I co-organized the administrative aspects of the production with the Production Office Coordinator. My work involved handling sensitive documents and equipment, organizing the filing system, supplying the office and set with supplies, liaising with all departments on logistic issues, checking contracts and paperwork for errors, and finalizing the wrap book at the end of the production shoot.

This feature film, starring Vincent Piazza and Patricia Arquette, was shot in New York (during very cold months). As Production Office Assistant, I handled sensitive documents, filed production records, managed the office supply stock, liaised between all levels of the production team, scouted and organized non-union B.G. talent, supervised our team of interns, and transported expensive film equipment and DIT hardware.

Although this was a commercial for a college in Rhode Island, I worked remotely from the New York office. I assisted with the organization of the shoot logistics (ex. production calendar, talent acquisition, etc), managed the office supply, and finalized the wrap book which is given to the producers and then to the clients at the end of the editing process.

I recorded large amounts of data daily for the producers & insurance companies, set up, ran, and broke down the production office every time the shoot location changed (sometimes 3-4 times a day), kept crew members’ paperwork and scripts up-to-the-minute, liaised between all departments for admin issues, and handled sensitive equipment and data such as hard drives containing film footage.

Flatland Productions was a start up company with several outlets (radio, television, & film). As Assistant Production Manager & Personal Assistant to the director, I spoke on air daily for the one hour radio show, ran the fan chat rooms, managed the social media accounts, researched and interfaced with upcoming guests, organized company records, and cleaned-up graphics for advertisement. I also co-managed the production of commercials by handling logistics, acquiring talent, and assistant directing on-set.
