ThyssenKrupp Scholarship Master Student at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Master in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Technische Logistik). Master Thesis being developed concerning a Six Sigma Project, in order to achieve processes optimization and cost reduction.

Job Rotation in the onshore/offshore sectors of the company.

Main activities: Non destructive tests by Eddy Currents, in order to detect fatigue cracks in clad steel, which is applied in deepwater oil production. Project Partnership with Petrobras.

Main activities: Development of training for employees of the continuous casting sector; evaluation and organization of data from internal steelmaking processes, correlated to KPIs (key performance indicators); literature research of academic support for issues discussed in the metallurgy sector.

Main activities: Realization of part of the research of a PhD project, in the area of biopolymers, through analysis by swelling tests, optical microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC); literature research to support the PhD project.

Main activities: Preparation of chitosan and cellulose membranes, with swelling test analysis and UV-VIS spectroscopy.
