I was involved in the research unit focused on forest health and biotic interactions, where I conducted a study on native ash tree species and the invasive emerald ash borer (Agrilus planipennis). Additionally, I collected, processed, and extracted phytochemical samples, worked in a Level 3 safety laboratory, and assisted with insect breeding.

IES is a GLP-certified contract research organisation focused on the effects on biotic systems. I Specialized in insect breeding and conducted acute (OECD 235) and chronic (OECD 233) tests on Chironomus spp. Additionally, I performed Fish Early Life Stage (FELS) toxicity tests (OECD 210) and participated in various other OECD guideline-based studies. Furthermore, I assisted in GLP guideline adaptations to allow a risk assessment test of a biopesticide on an aquatic invertebrate.

Bachelor Thesis: Recycling of Cobalt Resin By-Product I conducted research on the recycling of a by-product from the cobalt resin process and provided a safe and environmentally friendly solution for recycling, while respecting the environment and ensuring the safety of workers.

Led outdoor weekend activities and camps for children and teenagers, emphasizing teamwork and environmental awareness.

Internship: Learning know-how of in Vitro Plant Biotechnology on woody plants. I worked with different hormones and plant growth regulators to initiate roots and shoots. I initiated regeneration and took great care to work aseptic under a horizontal laminar flow unit to avoid contamination by fungi and other micro-organisms.
