Developed and tested a flux-limiting polymer membrane for continuous glucose monitors designed for the treatment of Diabetes mellitus patients • Solubility testing of different polymers in various solvents • Viscosity measurements of polymer solutions • Glucose diffusion coefficient measurement • Dip coating of sensors and testing their functionality via spectrophotometric analysis • Electrochemical sensor performance analysis with optimized coating

• Tested new test strip architectures for blood glucose monitors using human blood samples • Implementation of new polymer spraying device for producing hydrophilic coatings

Nine-day internship at pediatric surgery (biopsy transfer to the lab, calm patients, call in doctors, bring equipment during surgery)
