Ausbildung von Leandro Bergamo M.Sc.

  • 2 Jahre und 3 Monate, Jan. 2011 - März 2013

Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering

    University of São Paulo

This master thesis analyzed hydrodynamic instability of the subsonic compressible flow inside a lid-driven cavity. A high fidelity DNS solver with parallel computation capability was implemented to generate basic flows. The BiGlobal approach was used to study the hydrodinamic instability. The effect of Mach number on critical Reynolds number was obtained (neutral curves for several Mach numbers). New intrinsically compressible modes were found.
