• Development of a platform for remote monitoring and control of a home mechanical ventilator for COPD patients • Clinical trial for the study of the compatibility of two impedance measuring techniques of COPD patients’ respiratory system • Development of a new mechanical ventilator for automatic pressure setting • Quality control trial of ICU mechanical ventilators in Hospitals

Development of a platform to be connected to a home mechanical ventilator for real-time monitoring of breathing activities during sleep of OSAS patients. The system allowed clinical staff to visualize in real time patient’s sleep breathing activity and to remotely change ventilator’s settings in order to optimize the provided therapy.

Development of new technologies for the home monitoring and treatment of patients with respiratory disorders

The degree provides a comprehensive and solid scientific and technological background in Electronics Engineering, abilities to design and to use electronic devices, electronic circuits and electronic systems of any complexity and in particular on a systemic point of view of the electronic circuit.
