Supervised by Dr. Jacob Moorad, Project Title: ​The Quantitative Genetics of Life-History Trade-offs in ​Nicrophorus vespilloides. Large-scale mating experiment investigated egg and clutch size variation in >600 females, using REML models to estimate breeding values and genetic covariances. Final Grade: 8.5/10

Master Thesis I written at the Behavioral Ecology and Aquatic Ecology groups in the Faculty of Biology at LMU-Munich. Co-supervised by Dr. Niels Dingemanse and Dr. Mia Stockenreiter, Project Title: ​Density-Dependent Growth and Pace-of-Life Syndromes: Could Trade-offs Generate Large-Scale Phenotypic Covariation? Literature review and pilot experiments comparing evolutionary mechanisms theorized to generate phenotypic covariation using ​Daphnia ​colonies. Final Grade: 1.3

Short MSc Research Project conducted at the Institut des Sciences de l’Evolution-Montpellier (ISEM) in the Experimental Evolution of Communities (EEC) group. Co-supervised by Dr. Emanuel Fronhofer and Dr. Oliver Kaltz. Project Title: ​Eco-Evolutionary dynamics of range expanding communities. Experiment investigating the range expansion dynamics of a community of ciliates. Final Grade: 17/20

Part-Time Social Media manager for Merger Labs and other venture capitalist clients/companies. Included weekly posts across social platforms for a variety of industries.

Research Assistant at the Dept. of Evolution and Ecology, UC Davis, supervised by Dr. Samantha Price. Research project on the rates of shape evolution in carnassial teeth of hypocarnivorous carnivorans using geometric morphometrics data. Presented project as a poster at the 2016 Evolution conference in Austin, Tx, USA. Additional tasks included literature search and management of phylogenetic matrix data.

Intern at the Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse Research Project at the Dept. of Wildlife, Fish and Conservation Biology, UC Davis. Supervised by Katherine Smith, PhD student in Ecology Graduate Group. Generated behavioral data from videos of field-captured mice in cafeteria study in order to experimentally quantify. preferences and other interactions with different food sources.

Field Intern at the Dept. of Plant Sciences, UC Davis. Supervisor: Kristina Wolf, PhD student. Intern on project investigating the differences in use by wildlife community between restored and unrestored grasslands around central California. Assisted in various fieldwork activities including live trapping and measuring mice, collecting fecal samples, vegetation surveys, monitoring camera traps and checking cover-bards. Reviewed and aggregated data from camera traps.
